Earlier versions of this project contained citation-to-product mappings that did not consistently meet the current standard for ingredient identity, formulation, dose, study population, and claim directness. Those mappings should not be relied upon.
New evidence records are verified against primary-source bibliographic data and classified by study type, population, ingredient/formulation, dose, duration, outcome, safety findings, and directness to the product claim.
Until that review is complete, product pages may show “Under Review” instead of an evidence grade or citation count.
Primary sources include PubMed-indexed literature and authoritative government resources such as NIH Office of Dietary Supplements, NCCIH, FDA, and NCBI resources. Manufacturer pages are used for current formulation/label facts, not as proof of efficacy.
